We placed your goodie bags in our treasure chest, in the Pediatric Emergency Room, for care team members to distribute to patients after they;ve undergone a procedure (blood work, throat culture, nasal swab, etc.). The nurses were extremely grateful, as it was a particularly busy week.
Additionally, you brought smiles to the nurses’ faces and they revel in being able to provide a prize after a painful or frightening procedure.
